Lagos state polytechnic is a school of international standard, It is basically conceived to train young Nigerians and international Community to attain their full potentials and develop cutting-edge insights and foresight needed to perform at their vintage best in their future careers and to be a positive influence in the society.

At Lagos State Polytechnic, we are 'child-o-centric' school, acutely aware of Stanford Research that says 89% of what we learn is visual, 10% is auditory while 1% is through other senses. Hence our teaching platform is 89% visual, through the use of electronic learning facilities in all classrooms.

The Polytechnic commenced its academic activities in 1978 with the admission of 287 students.  The breakdown of the Polytechnic students’ population for three (selected) academic sessions is as shown below;.

The nature of training received from LASPOTECH is geared towards equipping the products with readily employable skills so that they can fit into industry and commerce easily, and also that they too can create employment for others.
